ECG-24.2.4.9 was pushed out in June; perhaps this was the update that is causing the problem.

Not just a 2023+ problem. My MY 21 Job 1 FE was just hit by this. And I have Automatic Updates turned off.

So very unhappy at the moment.

So the lights are coming on still but it won't unlock?

I stopped in a parking lot. I noticed a click when I shut the car off and the radio immediately went off before the door opened. This has never happened before and was ominous. Could not open the frunk with a 12v jump. Dealer said Oasis was not reporting anything when I called to tell them it was coming in.

Nothing comes on. The louvers are stuck open and Ford Pass thinks the car is on, but no functions work.

Then it's a different problem than this topic is about. Your 12V may have suddenly died. Try another 12V source, such as jumper cables off another vehicle battery, or a lithium jump start pack in manual override mode (see product manual). A 12V battery charger will not work.

Yeah I tried a Lithium jump pack and the frunk would not open. It hurt to watch my car be dragged onto a flat bed on skates. Don't know what the dealer is going to do to sort this out.

Had a lockout scare this morning. Fortunately, it was just PaaK being difficult. PaaK normally works very consistently for me, so I assumed a lockout situation. It eventually decided to work again, but that experience prompted me to run right out and get some rope in order to rig up a manual door override. Until Ford figures this whole thing out, I'm no longer taking the risk of not being able to access my Mach-E if the LVB craps out.

Yep; and let me tell you that string is indeed comforting.

All I want now is a mod for battery disconnect switch / button in the cabin.

I did not have to use the string today, but I did have a lockout situation while washing my car. So pretty much I only use my phone as a key so I’m outside today washing the car and listening to music on the phone and as I would walk away from the car The mirrors would fold and the car would lock of course because I’ve got the walk away Lock set. So no problem I did not want the mirrors to fold so I could wash the car and dry a course without any kind of hassle of having to open the mirrors, so I got my keys and I threw them inside the car on the passenger seat I walked away and the car locked, so I took my phone and put it about 50 feet away from the car so it wouldn’t Know, I had my phone and I could not get in the car so I picked up my phone walked towards the car and it unlocked. After that, I put my phone further away lock the car with the key then unlock the car pushing the button on the door and threw the keys inside and the car did not lock , that was just something I’m not sure is right even if you have the phone set up as a key? So far as you guys were talking about that bag or that pouch to put your keys in and leave them inside the car that didn’t have to happen today for me caught me off guard. My phone worked as a key. I still had my string though lol.

So I wanted to try something else so I started the car this time, because it was not running before I was washing it. So I started a car with the phone while sitting in the car and I got out of the car and of course the horn beat letting me know the car was running and basically you got the keys I guess. And I grabbed the keys and I threw them on the passenger seat and I shut the car off and walked away. There was no indication other than the mirrors were open now. So the car did not lock but then again it did not indicate you left the keys in the car . I was hoping it would also indicate that you left the keys in the car by honking the horn or something even though the car was off I guess it didn’t do that.
