Unfortunately the lens on my 2022 Mach -E GT got cracked by a shovel that was a little to close ( the person responsible is very sorry).
I looked up the part on Ford Part #: LJ8Z13405F. $1115.45. Really?
Does anyone know if this really is the cost or if it is just my area?
So now the question if it really is that much and crack is just a little spiderweb crack do I just live with it for now.

What would you all do?

For $1100, I guess I would probably just live with that crack... But you might try searching salvage yards. Or if you have a local repair shop, have them do a salvage search for you, since I believe repair shops have an easier way to search salvage yards without searching each one individually.

Yeah, unfortunately the lights are expensive. Check with the online auto wreckers, eBay, etc. I don't believe there are any aftermarket tail lights available yet. 😰🐩

I would try Methylene Chloride, if you can find it. It's a clear watery solvent that you can drip into small cracks like this to seal them up. It has the advantage of making the crack somewhat disappear. You have to be very precise in applying it because if you dribble it down the outside of the lens, it will leave a whitish trail.
When I was going to school, a friend of mine had a motorcycle with a clear plexiglass fairing. Somehow the bike got knocked over against a car and the top half of the fairing snapped off cleanly. The fairing was about 15" wide. With the help of 2 or 3 other guys holding the top half of the fairing against the bottom half along the break, I used a hypodermic needle to carefully inject some Methylene Chloride into the seam and reattach it. This stuff is very volatile at room temps so evaporates quickly. He rode that bike with the repaired fairing for a few more years and that joint held up nicely. At the time (late 70's), you could buy this stuff at the hardware store anywhere. Nowadays it's considered hazardous and maybe controlled. But if you have some laying around, give it a try. What have you got to lose?

My left tail light lens was completely broken so had to replace it. I found a good used one (tested and guaranteed by seller) on EBay Motors for about $300. It is pretty easy to install, took just a few minutes.

The gets the cost.

Replacing them can be a bit time consuming.

Wait till you see the headlamp prices.

It pays to shop around. There are also third party sites selling Ford OEM parts, though shipping can eat much of the savings.

My price (not including shipping from Oahu):

Love that MSRP vs. Your Price comparison. 😱🐩

I would think about running a thin line of super glue in each of the cracks to prevent the lens from separating.

mine also cracked, although it was much worse and needed to be replaced. The cost you see is correct because they can’t replace just the plastic. They have to replace the entire rest lighting apparatus, including the lights above the rear window. It’s crazy.
