CSP 22B48 - DC Charger Controller Module Programming

This is an optional customer satisfaction program (CSP) to update the Off-board DC charger control module (OBCC) to improve compatibility with certain brands of DC chargers that fail to initiate charging. Some customers have or will receive this as an OTA soon (Priority Update 23-PU0105-DC-CHG2). If you are going on a road trip, you may want to have this done beforehand to reduce the possibility of charging failures, but otherwise wait and you should get the OTA if you need it.

OBCC software level should be at LJ98-14G684-AM or higher after the update, the latest available is -AP.

OBCC updates do not affect the charging curve, they only impact DC charger communications.

I just got the mail on this. Would be nice if the OTA update 23-PU0105-DC-CHG2 mentioned the 22B48 program so you know if you already have it.

I just received an email today from Ford regarding the 22B48 CSP yet I received OTA 23-PU0105-DC-CHG2 last June. Doesn't FORD know what OTAs my car has? Why send the email if you already got the update four months ago?
