Wouldn’t buy one, think it’s ugly……….

But I am definitely curious. Like anyone else’s it’ll turn my head, I’ll take a pic the first one I see, talk to the driver etc.

Given the opportunity to test drive it….. of course!

But still zero chance I will have one in my garage.

It’s for the guy that already has a bright green Lambo.
100% (especially the part about not having one in my garage - it literally wouldn't fit, though even if it did, NFW)

It would be nice to have it in West TX. I got so many (more) rock chips on the MME bumper just from driving around town. I did not notice any rock chips on a Ram with powder coated bumper. No paint means no paint chips. Hopefully, the steel will hold up.
PPF is the answer here. Zero paint chips in 32k mi. Lots of highway driving.

Totally agree. The detailer will need to find a creative way to protect the PPF edges too, as there’s not a visible way to wrap them around any panels and the gaps are very tight. It’s not a functional design.

Not for where I am at. It is very hard to find a reliable shop. Dallas might be a good place to get it done but it is at least 5 hours away. By the time I got there, my MME already had many rock chips. Thanks for the advice anyway. I might have to consider buying cars in Dallas and get PPF done there before driving back.

The bed hardly holds anything I’d want to haul
View it as a fun vehicle which Tesla calls a "truck". If it was designed to do real work, it would have provisions to mount a ladder rack.

You won't see a Cybertruck in a government or large business fleet. Big companies and governments procure vehicles via competitive bidding. Vehicle specs are built in to their request for bids, (most include color).

I doubt that Cybertruck will meet the specs, and I also doubt that Tesla is very interested in competitive bidding. Commercial/government customers know how to buy Ford, Chevy and Ram and their dealers know how to participate in the competitive bidding peocess. The CT is purpose-built for play, not for work.

Seen on Wednesday night at the local Tesla store in Chicago. They were closed at the time, but I’ll stop by today or tomorrow to take more pics. Quality of the class A surfaces look good. Gaps are consistent and seem pretty tight.

It’s still a very polarizing design. I personally think it looks butt ugly, but beauty is subjective.

Update:

Store was busy and had a short line of people who had to provide contact info to get in. According to the salesperson I spoke to, official announcement is scheduled for Nov 30, when Elon will talk about pricing, specs, availability, etc.

Looking at it in person, quality is like I described earlier. In the right light, the C-pillar seemed a bit scuffed / probably polished several times. The size of the windshield is enormous. The dimensions seem a bit off to me (cartoonish looking).

No, South Africa. He drew this design when he was 7 years old and in the 2nd grade instead of taking notes in class. :p

I also think it's ugly. It's something a teenage boy would sketch out in graphic design class. I can also see the SS panels reflect light differently, not as consistent as paint. But those are just my opinions. To those who like it, cheers!

Ford Mustang Mach-E Cybertruck at Tesla Stores IMG_3102

I was able to see this Cybertruck in person at the Westfield Montgomery Mall Tesla Store (Bethesda, MD).

Some folks say pictures don’t do it justice. Yes, they do. Since we couldn’t even touch it and they didn’t have any real specs, there were no real surprises seeing it in person. It was just as ugly in person as the pictures I’ve seen. Although, today I did realize just how much it looks like a refrigerator.

I thought I liked it at first but the more actual photos I see I’m becoming not a fan. Maybe I’m biased. ?

Let me be clear about something, while I have no interest in buying one of these they are absolutely positively going to sell like crazy! There are many people in this world who want to be different and this will absolutely fill that niche! Before any of you tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about just remember, you don’t either!
