Good Day. I'm trying to self investigate an issue I'm having with DCFC with my 2 week old MME. I went to an EVgo 50kwh machine in CT. Initiated a session and successfully charged for 11 minutes. Pin took a few moments to unlock, but unplugged. Got in and started car - got HV battery and Powertrain Malfunction wrench service notice.

Made appt with local dealer, apparently from what I can tell, they cleared the errors and tested on L2 charger (it worked, since my issue is with DCFC) Not sure the service advisor had any idea what I was talking about. 15 test driven miles later I'm hoping to have a working car.

Yesterday go to a different EVgo station. First time I plug in, the station never completes the handshake, gets stuck in some type of calibration mode. I call EVgo on scene, and they walk me through basic troubleshooting on their end. Illuminated ring is now red upon plugging in. Throws same error messages as last time, plus charge fault.

I have a different dealer looking at vehicle in 2 weeks - apparently they service more MME's so promised a in depth check. Does this sound like same error with TSB 21-2190? Build date is 7/21 (sticker shows a late June 21 date)

Going to ask to update modules. Any other thoughts/suggestions? (sadly I have mostly EVgo near me in terms of DCFC) Will try EA when I'm more confident I can make the trip.

Thanks!

Who were the manufacturers of the errant machines? There is at least one who’s older machine will not work nor play well with recent BEVs , including the mach-e.
