Truck City Ford isn't interested in EVs last time I was there. At that point maybe had one tech that was EV certified. So not completely surprised 😉
I have been using them for my EV service exclusively since I bought our 2022 Mach-E in May of that year. The first year was a little rough, but in 2023, they got a BEV service advisor, and recently, they got a new service manager who has treated us pretty well. They are very slow with repairs, and I believe it's because they still have only one person dedicated to EV service work.

Last time I looked Plugshare did not list my local dealer. They said it was because they did not offer access after business hours. So I assume this means that has changed.
To be clear the chargers are located on the main drive and not locked behind a security fence/gate.

The geographic coverage of Ford Charge is pretty awesome - especially for smaller towns and cities. I've used them extensively on my road trips.
If you live in the eastern half of the US. Not so much if you live in the west.

Way Scarff Ford in Auburn, WA charges $1.00/kWh

Korum Ford in Puyallup, WA is at 40¢ per minute. I gotta give Korum Ford credit on their signage though!
One down and thousands more to go. That’s awesome. I’ve yet to see anyone advertising the existence of EV charging.

Each dealer sets their own pricing - BUYER BEWARE.

It would be really nice if pricing were more uniform. It would also be nice is there was a "member discount" for FordPass users.

The Ford dealership near my parents place has chargers. It’s one of the reasons I can drive to their house. I don’t love it. It’s a bit sketchy after dark because I am often the only one around. But beggars can’t be choosers.

There is an Ionna going in at a Sheetz nearby, however. When that opens, I will use it. Lighting, 24 hours staff, food, coffee.

They’re often a good option in smaller towns. Nice chargers. During business hours you have clean bathrooms, free coffee, and sometimes free snacks. Just tell them you’re charging your Mach-e. No one has ever been anything but nice to me.

I am surprised they are not on P&C though.

So do these support Plug & Charge or no?

Edit: never mind, I see the list in the BC Hydro thread. Think I’ll stick to the Tesla Superchargers and EA for now.

@Ford Motor Company should just become a member of IONNA to help fund more dedicated charging stations. Too many dealers “accidentally” block their chargers, not to mention nobody wants to get clobbered by a car salesman on the way to the restroom…assuming the dealer is even open.
Not just that but they jack up the KWH rate to like 1.29.

Why do that when other automakers are already funding Ionna though? Which Ford drivers already get to use. More advantage for Ford to not fund it.

I presume this Ford Charge Network is just an attempt to salvage that failed plan from 3-4 years ago to force dealers to install DCFC or else, that they had to back off of and eventually reimburse dealers for most of. It was a bad idea from the start. But at this point they might as well try to get some value out of it with a little coordination and promotion (very little, I suspect).

My local dealer has had 2 high speed chargers sitting, inoperative, for over a year.

Other dealership has put 3 in, shared 120kW, 1 currently working, currently free.

This is a Ford dealer near me with blink 180w chargers at 0.49kwh. Not cheap but not EA rates 0but there's also 17w chargers at $2.50 per 15 mins so it can get confusing if you don't double check. There should definitely be a discount for ford owners, at least at a competitive rate to Tesla Owners rate it EA members rate
