Hi everyone, I had my mache taken in for the contacter recall , I have an AWD the dealership gave me a GT version whilst they did the work, I noticed that whilst I had the GT in one pedal mode it breaks much quicker than my own mache when I have it in one pedal mode. is this normal ? .the difference in breaking?
I picked up my vechicle and apparently they have done a master re-set on my AWD , this has erased all of my charging data but everything else is there, however now I am unable to set the time for charging?!. Please forgive my ignorance on these things any advice would be great.

Some of the updates have been known to clear out charging schedules. Usually they start working again after the car is restarted though. One thing you can try is to delete and recreate the location you want the schedule set at. Sometimes the car doesn’t think you are at the saved address so doesn’t apply the charging schedule.

Braking...

They didn't do a master reset. The recall update undoes the home charging location and the home navigation setting.

You need to unplug, then plug in. Charge for a few minutes.
Then, unplug. Now, try and convert the location to a saved location, set hours and charge limit.
Now, plug in again.

There is a noticeable difference in 1 Pedal braking between the 3 driving modes. If you drive your MME on Whisper, and the GT you drove was in Unbridled, that was the difference you were feeling.

I noticed the same thing when I drove the dealer's GT. Regen felt much greater and I was using the same drive mode as my AWD. I presume the difference is the larger front motor but I really didn't drive it long enough to know for sure. I also wondered if maybe the regen is greater on the GTs because they might have a higher grip level? Again.....didn't really drive it that long to form a theory. ?

Everyone keeps saying this but for my RWD there’s no noticeable difference in 1PD max regen between engage and unbridled. The pedal travel is less but max regen feels exactly the same. Must be a dual motor thing. One of these days I’ll pull data and see for sure.

OP the recall update might have applied a brake update as well. A lot or us have noticed a decrease in max regen after the update was applied. It also seems much less consistant now.

Yes !! my dealer told me that they had done a master re set on my vehicle, they did not tell me it would or could wipe out my charging settings , my vehicle was affected by the contacter issue , whilst working on my vehicle they decided to do a master re set , its interesting as they gave me their GT and without a doubt it breaked quicker than my AWD . My car is only 4 1/2 months old so I’m new to all this to a degree

I hope you didn't break their GT, but it's interesting you thought that it braked quicker.

They had no reason to do a master reset.

Bizarrely they also claimed the temp wasn’t functioning correctly and in their words had “ some how come loose”!!! They said they had done the update , a master re set and had removed the front bumper to correct the loose wire !, of course not it wasn’t only me that noticed the breaking and re gen difference the dealership said they didn’t know why there was a difference, my husband also noticed it ?‍♀
