Dealer says that my Mach E

I know, I know....my dealer says....is the start of bad information, but not this time!!

My dealer says that my Mach E is here. And he sent a picture to prove it.

About 1 week short of 11 months since I ordered it, it's on the ground. I'll go by and take a look and will be able to pick it up next week.

Its my choice. I’ll be out of town until next Friday so they’ve got all the time they could possibly want. I may get all the paperwork done via email so I can just stop by & pick it up when I get back.

Its my choice. I’ll be out of town until next Friday so they’ve got all the time they could possibly want. I may get all the paperwork done via email so I can just stop by & pick it up when I get back.
No markup at my dealer.

Word of warning. People found out the HARD WAY that the dealer only has to hold your order 7 days. (There’s a few threads here).

After 7 days of you not taking delivery they can sell your car to someone else (for significantly more profit too).

Not saying this will happen to you, but just because it could I absolutely would do the paperwork while you are away.

I drive past that building every day, never thought I would see it end up on this forum. I have a MME on order from that same dealer. So far cannon has been great to me, hope they keep it up for when I get my MME.

If you think they like you enough to give up an extra $5,000 in pure profit, then you have more faith/trust in dealerships than the rest of us.

I had X plan agreed in writing. I’m friends with multiple people at the dealership. I even did their advertising for 8 years in a previous career.

And I was still afraid to leave the car more than 1 day.

And again, after 7 days they have every right to sell to someone else.

Just do the paperwork now. Nothing to lose that way. I wouldnt want to put that faith to the test.

My dealer held a guy's Mach E for 3 months (military transferring into area) before he picked it up.
Not all dealers are bad.
