Hi, just registered for this forum, my wife ordered premium, AWD, ext range Mach e on 15 Feb and still waiting. Dealer said April, May, July, Aug 2, Aug 9 now says October. Is this for real? Are dealers favoring VIPs trading spots with others already in line?

Blame Ford on this one and not the dealer. There are many threads on this topic on the forum.

I know cars ordered later have been delivered. I ordered 5/3 and haven't heard a thing. With the chip shortage finally have its full effect, I'm looking at Dec - Jan.

We feel your pain. But daaaaaaaam. FEBRUARY???

Have you gotten any emails with your VIN number? What does the Ford tracker show?

It could be worse lol. I have a 2 Dr bronco on order. Ford announced today no 2 Dr Broncos till next year due to roof issues. They have like 120,000 orders and cant fill 90% of them.

We are in the same club, traded my JK in ordered a BL 4DR MIC, prob won’t see it till late 22.

Thank you all for your quick replies. Tracker says production date 10 July with ETA 1990-01-01

The ETA cleared this afternoon. Mine was 10/31 and now it says N/A on the tracker. When I use the tracker I found on this website, the eta say 1/1/1990.

That makes 5 delays of a week in the last 6 weeks.
Now moved to around mid December

Not yet putting the champagne on ice but latest news we are told is our Mache is in transit from Mexico to our dealer. Maybe by Thanksgiving! Mid Feb order to late Nov!

Best bet is to just start calling your dealers looking for a car that matches what you want.

Me personally, I knew nothing about the MME till about maybe a month or so before I bought one. I was going back and forth between a Tesla and the MME. Due to some health issues I had to sell my motorcycle which left me with a 18MPG (at best) F150 truck. So I spent about 3 or 4 weeks calling dealers and picked up my Route 1.

I do find it pretty stupid that people can have all these cars on order/reserve and yet cars sit on the dealers lots. From my understanding they are from reservations that people either canceled or they just backed out.

I am surprised no one has pointed out:

• there were literally tens of thousands of orders ahead of yours, for a car whose first year production was to be 50,000 cars
• there has been a severe chip shortage for the last 6 to 10 months
• there have been tens of thousands of Ford's best selling product stuck in parking lots waiting for chips and other parts
• as a result of the shortages, Ford's sales were literally halved in the second quarter and deeply affected in the third quarter
• many of the people on this forum reserved in 2019, and the GT orders just started getting delivered a month ago
• so yes, 8 months seems reasonable

I off and on check Premium's around my area and usually, there are <3 within 50 miles of me. They are always "Special Order" and within a few days, disappear from the inventory tracker so I don't think these Premiums are sitting around that long on dealer lots at all.

I think there are a lot more Selects, but don't track those.
