I just hope the backlog is all cleared by the time mine rolls off the line in mid- January.

They're 3 days behind and catching up. If supplies hold and COVID stays in semi-check, that would explain it. It may be that your production actually moved up a couple of days is "all." If your MME was slated for the beginning of the 2/1 week it might have moved to Thursday or Friday in the 1/25 week. Just a bit of speculation on that though. Any moving up is a good thing. My build date got moved UP a week (early Feb, to end of Jan). I don't know how that's possible, given what I'm reading here about other orders being delayed.
Waiting seems like torture, but once we get the cars, it'll all seem like a blur.
Much respect to Ford for recognizing customers should get these cars before dealers. Even if a financial decision, I’m impressed.customer cars are being sent before demo I didn't say anything since ron already said it. Customer cars before dealers.
Well, you would know more about this for sure.....customer cars are being sent before demo I didn't say anything since ron already said it. Customer cars before dealers.
Agreed but looking good for January!

Those photos of cars being offloaded off the train and onto truck transports are almost all PE and Grabber Blue FE cars so that makes sense they would be customer cars. (There aren't any dealer demo FE cars except mine that I know of..)
I wonder how they know which is which though? Usual method is a green window sticker vs blue. Is that what they did? I can't really tell from the photos...

When? Sometime today apparently. Where? Good question.OFFLOADED from the train? Looks like I missed something, when/where did this happen? ?
Wow missed that too -OFFLOADED from the train? Looks like I missed something, when/where did this happen? ?
Oops. Maybe I spilled the beans a bit early. Complete photo montage posted on social media somewhere. I will let someone else share that when he is ready.....OFFLOADED from the train? Looks like I missed something, when/where did this happen? ?
Nope. Didn’t say that. Customer units have priority. My guess is that means if a train or truck has space available they’ll load FCTP but that will be after customer units have been accounted for. That‘s great! So no FCTP units will ship until all the customer cars ship?
Offloaded the first 300 or so in KC today. Room for 36 train cars at Cuautitlan plant at a time.OFFLOADED from the train? Looks like I missed something, when/where did this happen? ?
Essential business travel allowed. Drivers probably eat, sleep, grab new load and go.Oops. Maybe I spilled the beans a bit early. Complete photo montage posted on social media somewhere. I will let someone else share that when he is ready.....
When? Today most likely.
Where? Not sure. Possibly two separate locations it appears. Any other time I would say the cars in that photo montage are customer cars for California but I am not so sure anymore because of the pandemic restrictions in place over there. I know I can't transfer trucks between our California and Arizona branches right now. Well, I could, but the drivers would have to quarantine for 14 days after they landed at the airport.
Not sure how it works for an auto transport driver. I think they are considered essential services but I dont know what the quarantine requirements would be. Maybe they plan to park in Blythe and hand over the rig to a California driver? That would be pretty cool if they figured out how to plan down to that level of detail. Not holding my breath though.....
I would say... look at the satellite photos on this forum. Find all the retail customer cars. Now find all the FCTP cars. I would be highly surprised if any of the FCTP cars shipped ahead of the retail customer cars. In addition, if you have a build date right now, or get one soon, it is almost assured your vehicle will ship before an FCTP vehicle. That‘s great! So no FCTP units will ship until all the customer cars ship?
If I offer to buy some extra barbeque besides what I'm getting for myself (duh), can I just go get my car from KC when it gets there? ?Offloaded the first 300 or so in KC today. Room for 36 train cars at Cuautitlan plant at a time.
