I ordered my car in sept 21, was told the build would be in Feb. Now looks like delivery is end July. Thanks about 40 weeks so way off what Ford stick on their website.
If it gets much longer I think I will wait for the Fisker which looks to be a much better car. Really disappointed with Ford and Uk deliveries.
It’s just one of the issues when buying a car with high demand and relatively limited production. All during supply chain constraints. Do what you think is best for you.

I ordered in September and now my GTPE has disappeared from the tracking site. If and when it’s delivered, I will probably let it go. It has some stiff competition to win me back.

I’m really happy now because I picked up a First Edition, Kia EV6 GTline. R&D lead was by Albert Biermann from the BMW M Group. This car is a Disneyland “E” ride. Zero to 60 is a respectable 4.6 seconds - and it does it more than once and doesn’t power back until around 30%.

And it has some features Ford passed up. A sunroof that opens and shades completely, vented seats, heat pump, lift gate opens by proximity of the key, electronic controlled suspension, 2,300 lb towing capacity….and an AC adapter to recharge your Robo Dog.

You forgot to mention the burst into flames feature...

Ordered Premium, ER, RWD 7/10/2021. Ford advised us of backlog, and changed our order to MY 2022 on 9/27/2021. Build week 1/3/2022 (Batch 3316, 279/540). Shipped 1/19/2022. Arrived Ramp 6R, Richards-Gebaur railyard 1/29/2022. Spoke to dealership yesterday, and they are saying it is unclear if this is just a shipping delay, or a chip hold. They checked the VVR and our car is still parked in KC, and hasn't been assigned a Norfolk Southern railcar for shipping on to Louisville.

Ford still estimates delivery by 3/6/2022, which seems unlikely. I have seen others in the same build week group posting estimated delivery in May or June. No regrets on decision to purchase this car, and look forward to eventually driving it. Production delays, material shortages, labor shortages, and shipping delays are to be expected given the unprecedented global effects of a worldwide pandemic.

I'd say the goal is to get both no ADM and the full $7500 federal tax credit. Easier said than done, I know.
I ordered last week and my MME may not arrive in time for the full $7500. If that happens plan B would be to get a local one with a small ADM in time for the the full credit.

Mine took 45 weeks to get here. Actually delivered a 2022 before my 2021 arrived. Have lost ALL faith in Ford because of my order experience.

For sure that's a better alternative if you think you'll be cutting it close for the tax credit, especially if you're ordering now or later.

You should buy a lottery ticket. Enjoy the new ride. They have glitches and software bugs but the drive is excellent.

As long as the 12v doesn’t die on me and leaves me stranded I will be a happy camper
