It just started working again, who knows why, but I deleted TOU on juicebox and adjusted time to charge on Fordpass.

I seem to remember seeing a toggle for “precondition when not plugged in” or something similar.
But I think the consensus on here was that it will precondition the cabin only, not the battery.
Seems to me that the main purpose is to not use battery to condition the car, but use the power from the wall. Kind of defeats the purpose to allow it to do it when unplugged.

There is a toggle, for "Allow start when vehicle is unplugged. That is different. That allows you to turn on (start) the car and that will condition the cabin to the previous temperature settings (if selected in the settings menu). Since the "allow start" option is found in the Departure Settings menu, it is easy to confuse that to mean all Departure Settings to take place while not plugged in, but I don't think that is the case. I could be wrong, but that would be consistent with what I read and what the behavior is.

That makes sense.
I looked and can no longer find the setting I was referencing. Maybe it was removed in an update?

Bumping old thread. My departure times have not worked for the last 6 months if vehicle is unplugged. Works flawlessly if plugged in. It used to work without issues until 6 months ago. A few others here have the same issue. Is it because vehicle is in a deep sleep? Did anyone find a fix?
