Departure Time Setup, Didn't Work This Morning

Hi all,

I've had my MME for a couple months now so not sure if this is a common issue.

I have departure time setup for 0445 on the weekdays for work. I have an Emporia Level 2 charger that when it's this cold I'll keep plugged in so the battery is conditioned. This morning it was around 32 degrees in my garage and -4 outside. When I unplugged there were no lights on by the plug and the car was cold. Confirmed the charger is working and the app shows departure times and everything setup correctly.

Is this a common issue?

What did you see in the Emporium app before you unplugged?

I ask because unless it looks like this (image below), the Mach-E departure time might be conflicting with the EVSE status?

I honestly didn't even look at the app. Only the charger itself showing good to go. I do have the option turned on to warm up the cabin even if not hooked up to a charger and it most definitely did not turn on.
If it does it again I'll make sure to look at the app.

There were a couple of recent posts from fellas that did not get the "departure time" pre-conditioning that they usually got while plugged in, and I think one suggested that he had to toggle off the feature for warming the cabin if unplugged.

Maybe a bug in some update?
Or perhaps even just a temporary glitch. Who knows?

But yeah, if plugged in to an EVSE and a departure time is set, and you are within 30 minutes of the departure time, you can just use the Emporia app to confirm the Mach-E is sucking the electron straw from shore power.

Update: This morning went out and it was nice and toasty. Worked as it should. Did nothing different so hope it was just a one off.

I was one of the guys posted in other threads yesterday that Ford Pass said all was prepared but after I unplugged and got in, the car was ice cold and after I pushed start, lots of warning lights to include stop safely now. Later in the day checked the 12 volt all good car was normal and worked as programmed this morning. Yesterday was 10 degrees outside and today it was 27 ?‍

I have had a few occurrences of my 2024 starting its on-plug preconditioning three hours ahead of schedule. Sometimes it just doesn’t work (that’s usually off-plug but happened with both the 2021 and the 2024). ?‍?

My departure time hasn't worked two days in a row . No warm cabin even if plugged in.

I recently got update PT-25.24.18 and update HVAC-25.26, could they have broken it?
