Well I think that's a long story, and it has always be, like all these comparisons between camaro, corvettes, mustangs, etc...
There will always be someone who dislike it, and that's ok!

Don't get me wrong I'd really LOVE to own and drive a mustang coupé, but I have two kids, and drives a lot, I want my trips to be comfy, the Mach-E is both look & comfort for the daily
When I could afford both a crossover and a coupé, I'd like the coupé to be a mustang too, and I'd like it to be an EV too, I am sure Ford will build one at some point

On point: my kids really love the poney! and they know it is a real Mustang

I sold my 11 GT before I ordered my MME. I really miss it. But I’m also waiting for the EV version. Before I picked up my MME I thought about a 22 Corvette that I test drove, but couldn’t pull the trigger because I can’t go back to a gas car.

Dude could have totally surprised himself. That is plausible.

I find that the quiet of an electric drivetrain makes outgassing in the car with passengers much more embarrassing. Wish there was a cloth seat option.

I too had considered a Vette some years ago but the legroom in them is just not sufficient for my 6'4" frame.

Similar here. I still get questions about why my gas door cover is on the front left fender.

It’s because the car has a motive power unit in the rear. ??

Last week I went to the car wash, and while I was drying it off a guy with a Mustang pulled next to me to start drying his off. He immediately started checking out the MME and asking questions. I gave him a tour. He said he had seen the media about the MME but never saw one in person, that it was bigger than he expected and much nicer. Never said anything negative.

Another thing that has happened a few times is someone on the freeway will come rushing up, hang near me for a few seconds, and then fall back. Very clearly they were coming to check it out ?

Not too long ago at a stop light I had a car full of teenagers roll down their window and got my passenger to roll his down so they could ask, "Is that electric?" (guess they didn't notice I have the EV plate with the green leaf) We yelled "yup" out the window as I floored it once the light turned green. I've gotten a few thumbs up from Tesla drivers and when I'm in the unfortunate situation of riding in the catfish err hubby's M3, I always give MMEs the thumbs up. Don't worry about the Tesla stank face, wouldn't you be upset if you drove a car that looked like a fish? ?

Perfect post to bring back the poorly done CaTesla I made.

That's the way the encounters usually go for me. Except for the freeway part as we have no freeways.

I wonder if they snicker when a truck reverses with the beeper going? Alternatively you could have disabled the beeper and then run into them when they complained they couldn't hear you. You can't win with some people.

Yeah, I don't know if it's the same backup beeper the maverick hybrid has, but it's a nice feature. Some people are just really dumb.

Could be.. My wife drove a diesel school bus and it’s “regen” is when the engine blows the muffler soot out its tailpipe.
