Not 100% sure if this is the right category for this so if it needs to be moved I apologize in advance. Anyway! Anyone know of a way to disable the front camera washer? We have lots of bugs up here and after the recent beautifying my baby got, I don't want to risk the washer fluid staying on with this heat on the front and messing with the coating. Plus I hate it that it sprays all over the front anytime I need to give the windshield a quick once over to clear debris to make sure the glass doesn't get marked up doing it dry. I personally think it's the dumbest thing to have a front washer and not a rear one and for it to pop out and spray sideways and not down off all things. Anyway, any help is appreciated! Thanks!! ?

Um, why would it be "staying on"? The pump only runs when you pull the stalk.

Pop out the frunk and disconnect/plug the hose going to the camera washer then.

I suppose I should clarify that I don't want the washer fluid to dry on the car and create a film on top of the coating. Do you know how to remove the hose without it making a mess? I'm assuming there is a pump that runs to it.

Disconnect the hose and plug it. Problem solved.

I really don't think washer fluid is going to harm the paint any. If you ceramic coated it, then even less so. That's the purpose of it.

I'm so glad I don't have to deal with flying insects. My car is 4 months old and I haven't tried the washers yet. I guess I should just to see if they work.
