Disable wireless Android auto?

Is there a way to disable the wireless version and only connect using the USB c cable?

Wireless version seems only to overheat the phone with audio issues

Yes, under settings-connectivity-wireless app projection. Then it'll only connect via USB.

I have had issues with my Andriod Auto as well. At times I can't answer my phone, on the phone nor the car infotainment. I hear it ring. I have to wait until the call is over then check missed calls.

I just turn the wifi off in my phone.

Fyi, even with USB, Bluetooth is still required so I'm not sure if that would cause any overheating issues itself.

I have been using Wired AA, and have seen reduced temps compared to wireless

Just a notice that the Android Auto beta version (open sign-up) seems to have fixed my AA issues with sound. Battery drain only when using Maps.
