That's only a PAAK thing right? So if you're not using PAAK you wouldn't have it anyway as I believe.

online a lot of people that lost the control are saying it came back in the next day or so. So perhaps that'll happen for you.

Yeah I did that on my first one too, then just didn't see the point since I always have my FOB anyway so didn't on my current one.

Have you restarted the app and phone?

I tried mine out a few weeks ago and it didn’t work. The buttons have always been there. It appears to communicate with the vehicle but no movement of the windows.

The fact that you have to be close enough for the Bluetooth connection makes it pretty much pointless for me.

If it’s not a feature in PAAK going forward I won’t care. Hope they add usable features like actually adjusting the climate temp and functions. Vehicle lock status, etc….

Correct. These are Bluetooth connected controls. That's why there's a little Bluetooth symbol to the left of the word controls:

Agree with @Mach-Lee. Sounds similar to the server side issue that made the app not display anything but the start, lock, and unlock buttons for me. Mine was because Ford was using completely different routines to validate credentials for PaaK between my account login and the app’s verification. Once they fixed the server side and I rebooted my phone, all was good (but it took them months to even acknowledge that there was a problem). ??

Instead of Ford building their own app they basically stitch together a bunch of trash so every time they do an update weird things happens.

I had lost them when I got version 5.4.0 last week but today, they came back. It will be interesting to see if I can now put the windows down. I couldn't since I got the 2023 GTPE back in March. I could put the windows up remotely. Not really ideal if one cannot put them down remotely.

For what purpose are people needing to control the car windows via their phone?
My button is still there in the app (iOS beta), but not sure under what circumstances I would need to use it.

I'm pretty sure the only one that still have window control are the ones that never use it so is it really there?
