It’s coming. You’ll have to turn all the ADAS off to see the OG speedometer though.
Which means I'll never see it. Fortunately, I don't care ?.

I ran the car with the centered speed for about a week to 10 days after getting the update before switching back. The speed readout is partially obscured for me with the ADAS on but I can deal with it.

I got it a few days ago. I keep usually keep lane keep on, so I rarely see it. I personally think the Unbridle and Whisper modes are better implemented than Engage. My complaint with Engage is that the speed limit sign is right next to indicated speed, and I don't know why that bothers me so much.

There’s another thread here on this exact topic with exactly the opposite complaint. You’re probably not going to believe this but there are more than a few people hate the engage mode battery gauge and want it done away with pronto. ?
Yup, can never make everyone happy.

Have we seen one complaining about the car icon being gone yet?

I’m so happy @Ford Motor Company finally pushed out this update (2 years after breaking it). I have been using the FORScan workaround since January and I still have that in place. It allows me to keep lane centering enabled, and have the nice instrument cluster UI.

Technically they pushed the change too soon iirc. But yeah. If I had my druthers, swapping the speed display with the car display while ADAS is on would be fine with me. I understand the rationale got the car being center though. Ideally, the classic speed plus animation would be available with LC on and without having to use forscan. But I’ll take it as is, it’s a nice change up in the display upon occasion.

There are two types of people in this world; people who expect their dash display to show useful information and those who like to play with their food.

Recently I have several times tried using the volume adjustment located on the right side of the steering wheel to adjust the cruise control speed, even though I know the speed control is on the left side. Reason: The speed icon is on the right side of the display. ?
Frustrating. Just that my mind, when not thinking (no comments as my wife has already) translates right-hand graphic with right-hand control.

Anyone else experience this? I think moving the speed graphic to the left side would prevent this. Very minor, I know.

Why is "Engage" screen different from "Whisper" and "Unbridled" screens?

"Engage" screen at least shows a useful battery gauge. Can we have useful things on the screens in the other drive modes too or just dancing bologna?
Does your range anxiety require a giant bar on the screen in front of you as reassurance that 50% of your battery didn’t fall out over those bumps? The battery meter is on all drive modes. It’s the center of focus in engage for some reason.
My phone has a battery meter half the size of my fingernail. That would be plenty for me to see. That giant bar is the primary reason I don’t use engage.

This is a big *SHRUG* for me. I don't want nor need the speedo centered and prefer the lane centering graphic to be front and center. It helps keep me from drifting left or right. And I drive exclusively in Engage mode and love the battery graphics. I even use the brake coach. So maybe I'm just different. Leave things as they are in my car, thanks.

I'm glad it's back, but the worst part of that update still remains. Nav instructions only popping up 0.3 miles before the turn. Absolute shit
