Has anyone had this issue? Look at the top 3 logs for my driving today. The km’s are totally wrong. I drove to work in the morning which is 56.9 km’s. Then after work I drove to a store less than half a km from work, then drove the 56.5 km’s home yet these logs show over 100km each time I drove my car today. Any thoughts why it is doing this?

It's been inconsistent with frequent recording errors for all owners, for all model years of this vehicle. Just a bug that Ford hasn't prioritized to fix.

Good to know it’s not just me. You think it should be pretty easy for Ford to turn the feature off since it is useless information.

Just to add a little more: The trip computer doesn't reset the mileage sometimes between trips (that's the bug). So in your case it seems like it failed to reset after your Wednesday drive and then again after your first two Thursday drives.

Honestly, it's kind of hard to understand why this hasn't been fixed yet. I mean, we can now connect to a wifi portal but we still don't have a functional trip computer?

This is the cause and it is quite amazing it hasn't been fixed yet. I ignore it but when I notice the trip distance hasn't reset since the last trip I am annoyed. And then I do a WOT and giggle like a little girl.

I don't think it is specifically a MME issue. I'm inclined to think that it is more likely to be a FP issue. It is and always has been C..P. I have had 3 cars linked to FP over the years and NONE of them have done all of what they should with it, specifically in terms of data reading. I don't trust or pay any attention to any of the data readings. I only use it to remote start (rarely), global opening/closing of my windows and occasionally to change charge settings. If I want the car to "talk" to my dealer, then I have to use FP to give the car permission.

Easy workaround - press the start button without pressing the brake pedal before starting the car normally.

The workaround is not foolproof.

The issue is not only mileage not resetting. I had energy reset on its own.

All this time and I never tried that!
