Curious about experience using it for the MME. I was using it for a while on my Audi but then noticed that it interfered with the sensor that indicates a low level of washer fluid. I remember the service person at the dealer telling me to avoid using it for that reason as well so I stopped. My washer fluid tank is still full from my recent purchase, but thinking ahead. I have Rain-X spray that I've applied which works well, but it's extra work compared to using just the Rain-X washer fluid.

I used a concentrated version that it had to be mixed with water for a short period of time. The fluid created film/precipitate in the reservoir so I stopped using it. The car was in the south at that time so it was not because of cold temperature.

My understanding is the issues with Rain-X breaking the conduction sensors is largely a German makes + Chrysler thing. Ford should have no issue.

Add Subaru to that list haha. Our WRX washer fluid sensor took a shit within 1 week of filling with Rain X washer fluid.

Iā€™ve used the rainx orange one in my Mazda, Hyundai, Toyota almost exclusively without any issues. Iā€™ve never used it in the Audi or the 08 Stang GT.

been using the rain-x orange in my past two Ford without issues. My MME is only 8 weeks old so it still has the factory fluid, at least till the weekend when I'll drain it and add some rainx

Funny you mentioned Rain-X washer fluid. When I took my car back to the dealership that was the first thing he asked me. It seems Rain X uses a wax that can coagulate in warm weather. Being in Florida itā€™s dame hot. So donā€™t use Rain X. But that wasnā€™t the problem. Disconnected hose from the tank. Why??? Who knows. 2 hours later itā€™s fixed and the HVB recall was downloaded . That only took 20 minutes!
Happy owner again; till next time!

I have used it in my Fords for years, starting with my 2003 F250. Zero issues, love it and will continue using it.
