Was wondering the exact same thing. I have a cargo net for my Acura MDX and had one for the Fusion trunk; they were both very handy! Yesterday, while loading groceries from the store I realized it would be nice to have a net with a pocket to hold some of the items that will roll around in the back. Has anyone seen an aftermarket net for the Mach E? I know Ford doesn't offer one that I know of.

Found one on Amazon. It's a generic and doesn't fit exactly (a little too long in height so I just put the netting over the knob holders on bottom rather then the straps). The car already has hooks built in to make the upper connection for the elastic hooks on netting (white circle).

Below is the "knob" like assembly that holds the lower portion of the net. It has adhesive so you place it where you want it and drill one hole through the plastic. The screw protrudes into a cup built in to the plastic so it doesn't hurt anything. I attached some netting to the lower knobs rather then the lower hooks because this cargo net is generic and was too long at 15 inches; it works fine. I also checked removing the floor of the storage area and that comes out fine and adjusts to the other height.

Thanks for posting! Can you share a link? Also, does the bottom attach anywhere?

Would this entail drilling into the body to make attachment points?

Yes, you have to drill two holes and mount knob like extensions that the net attaches to. Since the net is too long in height, I had to put the netting over these knobs rather then the elastic hooks at the bottom of the net. You might want to wait until you find a net that has dimensions closer to match the car's opening but if you still want the link, I'll put it up.

Yes into the plastic cup area in the bottom; easy and it doesn't mess anything up. The upper net hooks go over existing hooks in the car. This net was too long so instead of attaching the lower elastic hooks, I attached some of the netting a little further up which works.

43.3”X15.7” As I said, it is too tall. I would think around 10” tall if you could find it; I couldn’t.

For anyone interested, here's what I did. I prefer a net going across the bottom since I am often times transporting electronic devices to customer locations and this keeps them from flying all over the place.

From my last EV, that I sold, I removed the cargo net that was in it. Soooo I don't have any suggestions on where to get one other than the usual online retailers. My net in the picture below is 28" x 14". I then purchased some double "S" Clips and connected the closest to the anchors that are visible. Behind the rear seats I just pushed it between the trunk floor board and the plastic support that goes below it. Since the support is there it prevents the hooks from sliding forward and locks the net in place. No need to modify the car.
