Does the MME have a service mode?

My car is in for the HVBJB recall as well as a few more CSP and I am wondering if Ford can put the car into a service mode that blocks FordPass requests?

It seems like someone could use FordPass to turn on HVAC and endanger the technician.

I would suspect that anything being worked on that could be 'dangerous' would start with the technician disconnecting the 12V battery to keep anything from activating.

There are disconnects in the vehicle that the tech will enable before doing that work. But yes, there is a service mode.
