Door kick panels protection

I don't know if anyone else is annoyed with kicking the door kick panels scuffing it? I for sure don't like the cheap plastic material that Ford used for it......I was looking for something clear I can add to easily clean or wipe it off when I exit the door and accidentally kick it...It never fails even when I try not do it.....

That actually looks pretty nice beyond any protection. I am ok managing not scratching on entry/exit, but with my multiple trips to service, the advisors and techs not so much. Fairly easy to install? How do you feel about longevity of it?

Fairly easy to install but you must have patience my friend as it's very sticky if you are doing it yourself......I suggest, do it in your garage or some where with no wind....

I did it in front of my driveway and used a microfiber towel and the plastic squeegee that came with it....It also came with a spray water bottle but I did not need it
Some corners may be tough to stick and come up a bit but if you have a Heat gun, use it & press it down for a few seconds......Make sure you don't leave it at one spot for long!

I would think it would be cheaper and just as easy to wrap the panel with vinyl yourself or have a shop do it. And you could find a a color or pattern that might be more matchy than the faux carbon fiber.

Looked more expensive at one of the links, like $40 -- $22 is more like it, although I know I would mess it up and need to order another one.
