I agree but you would need a button for each door. I personally think just putting the car in park should activate the lighting in the door buttons just for this purpose of picking up passengers at night.
Heck, I think pressing the interior unlocking like I suggested, without needing to put it in park, should just light up the buttons. I mean, you're either unlocking it to let people out or to let people in, sounds like a smart idea to just light it up!

Yeah, but you’re talking logic and Ford’s software people are lacking in that department. ??
