Door fault

Crap. I was told last week, the earliest appointment they have is tomorrow morning. Thanks for the reminder about a loaner. I reached about to FMC on this forum, I will ask them about this as well. That would be a nice change from 2022 when no dealers had loaners available.
I’m under the 3yr/36k and have a 5yr/60k ESP so hopefully that covers the repair and a loaner.

Did you get an ETA on how long the repair would take?

He said the door latch needs to be replaced, they ordered it, and it will be in tomorrow so I leave it there overnight. They should be able to get it installed tomorrow and I should be able to get my car back tomorrow.

This is great news! I hope my turnaround time is similar. Yesterday I had a problem opening the front driver side door, so I know this is a real problem not just a SW issue on my MME!

Got my car back this afternoon. They replaced the door latch and updated a few modules. I also had the chrome finish peeling on my front driver passenger window button, they replaced the button. All good in the Mach E life now. Fast turn around.

EDIT: The service manager said he has never seen the Mach E have this door latch issue, but the regular ICE mustangs have this door latch problem a lot apparently... odd
