My car has switched driver modes twice on me while driving.

I normally drive in whisper mode, but on two recent trips, the car switched to engage mode without me selecting that.

Anyone else run into that issue?

Yes, seems to default to engage mode when it happens. Had it go from whisper to engage once and a second time it went from unbridle to engage. Never happened pre 4.1.2 that I can recall.

The first time I noticed, as the car accelerated slightly without any change in input from me (1 pedal drive).

I have had the car drop me out of Engage multiple times this week with a notification saying "drive mode not available." I have also had the infotainment screen fail to come on or crash while stating up several times in the past week. This has all been since the last update. @Ford Motor Company needs to fix this ASAP.

My ā€˜23 Premium is doing this, too. I’ve used only Engaged until about a week ago. Yesterday, I got the Drive Mode Not Available warning and it went from Unbridle back to Engaged twice in five minutes. Prior to that, it shows Engaged on startup, then figures it out and goes into Unbridled (Noticed in the DID). My car was delivered December 5th and it hasn’t had any updates since I got it.

Im not overly concerned about this as far as it being a safety issue, but am wondering If it’s going to start doing things that will be.

I don't think this is for the "Drive Mode Not Available" concern, there's no error on the IPC, it's only in Sync, it seems it's a bug in the latest updates.
