Mike, Steve, that’s good to know about the front end. Makes life easier. Thanks. I’m playing a waiting game for a little while longer to see whether my watching the bars on TD’s ebay page gets me a discounted by now price…which I think is what some other people did.
Question…if you’ve done new rear dampers, if you do both a new rear bar and dampers on the back end, is the damper job just a little easier if you do it in conjunction with the rear bar and sequence it so the new damper is in and done before the bar’s end links are bolted up. What do you think? Just looking for any edge to make the job easier and my helper Pebbles the ? more agreeable.?

I would say that if you have both, do them at the same time. One really doesn’t get in the way of the other, but the car’s in the air… ??

That’s what I’m thinking. Get it over with in one lift. Sequence I’m thinking, pull the bar, then remove shocks, replace shocks, try to jack lower control arm to mimic ride height geometry, torque shock bolts, install bar and bolt up end links. It’s a no brainer …. ?. Oh, then there’s the fiddling around with aero panels R and R… before and after the hard work. And making sure phone is off and it and fobs are over in the next county so car can’t accidentally wake up with a …. jolt …
Thanks.

If you send them a message saying your previous code expired they'll issue you a new one. That's what I did.

Good afternoon, quick question on this, how much did you save by using their code?

About $113 it seems. 564$ msrp v 451$.

As I recall the process you don’t get a code. You go to Discount Tire’s ebay page and click on “following “, or ‘watching’, whichever it’s called. Then just wait it out and eventually you’ll get an invite with an offer to buy it for a stated reduced price. I have no idea whether the price offered varies or not.

if you get a code it is in conjunction with their offer of the discount price received by playing the waiting game.

Be prepared to potentially wait a while. I don't recall how long I waited for a discount offer, but it was several weeks. I even reached out to the Discount Tire account here and was told that their eBay store was a separate department and they were unable to assist.

Funny thing is that I got the offer during a sale period. Not sure if I would have received an offer at all had the bars not gone on sale.

Best of luck!

That is a good point. Going by memory, I think my wait time was about two weeks.

Thanks for the info on the pricing.. Another quick question, I'm assuming this is a yes, but is an alignment required after the install of front & rear? I've done shocks / struts before and know you need an alignment after that, but wasn't sure if this is the same category or not.

I just bought Eibach sway bars and springs from tunersports. They have a coupon code on their homepage and didn't charge tax. I also got the eBay offer from Discount Tire, but tunersports was much cheaper. They have the wrong picture on their website, so just search by Eibach part number. Was drop shipped from Eibach and delivered in 2 days.

BTW, I did get an alignment but that was because of the springs. Not sure if needed for the sway bars only.

You don't need to get an alignment if all you are installing are the bars. Only installing the springs do you need an alignment.
