I got an email from ford that I can complete the purchase process. Online, it shows the options for loan terms etc.
Does that mean the car has reached the dealer?

Yes. You can complete the paperwork online, even sign if you choose (unless you need price or incentive protection, which has to be done offline).

You might want to check and see if you can actually take delivery of your car first. There's a good chance it's on hold for the recall.

I got a call from the dealer. Car is in and not on recall. They are doing post delivery inspections. I applied for financing with ford online and the numbers look ok.

I setup everything online and transmitted the detsila to the dealer for final signoff.

I will go to the dealer as soon as they call me. Excited.

My dealer is Ford of Kirkland. I will post my delivery experience. I got a call and looks like I will get the car tomorrow.

Only downside of doing it online is I didn't see any price protection nor order time financing options available (higher rates, lower Ford Options $$).

Price protection gives you the original MSRP if the MSRP/invoice price increases before you take delivery. You ordered 2/6/22 so I don't think it applies for you since there haven't been any increases since then.

Incentive protection gives you the lower interest rates that were available the day your order was placed, since they've likely gone up since then. Dealers don't often advertise this.

Overall you're pretty lucky you got your car delivered in less than 5 months.

EDIT: Was your build week pushed past the May 9th date you said before? May 25 is the cutoff for delivery hold.

Are you willing to share financing numbers? Mine arrived at dealer a few days ago, and I will be signing with credit union loan in low 3's, 20% down, 5yr term, middle of this coming week. Curious if that's competitive.
