truthfully a mixed bag in central oregon but good overall - especially given that ODOT screwed up the earlier round 2 effort. it isn't truly 24 "new" - no more than 21 "new" since i know three of the locations have been operating for quite some time (2 tesla but will need card readers for NEVI, 1 chargepoint but not NEVI power compliant and payment card readers weren't working last time i checked).

along 97: one is already there (tesla at 138/97) and la pine is a decent in-fill for tesla. was hoping the chiloquin location would be kept too. madras already has 3 decently appointed stations (tesla, EA, rivian) so not sure the love's really helps much. the one in downtown bend is an upgrade of a 4 stall 62kW chargepoint location so i guess that's good.

elsewhere, having love's take a big number of stations is a definite good move for i-84.

101 gets a much needed boost.

was hoping they'd fill in some dead spots (shaniko, john day/mt vernon, lakeview) but we'll have to see how ODOT does in the next round.
