I e-mailed my dealer rep last week. No response yet. He has been good at communicating up to this point so I will now just wait until I get a reply.

The ball is in their court now. If it turns out that something went wrong with my order then I will take that as a sign it wasnt meant to be.

I remain interested in the vehicle but I have my limits. Thinking wishful thoughts.....

Just called my dealer, and now he's wanted to setup a meeting to have me come in and finalize/confirm the order? That seems opposite of everything I've seen on here.
If you’ve already paid your deposit, then there’s nothing to finalize. Unless they have a vehicle sitting and waiting for you.

To avoid bugging my dealer even more than necessary, I think the next step for me is on/after the 18th to confirm my #machdrop FE gets entered into the order bank by Ford for my dealer to see, at which point I'll ask him to email me a copy of the order like he did with my original Premium (that's also still on order).

Yeah if you haven't heard anything in 6 weeks, I would too.

I went round and round with mine (and the Ford EV team) 2-3 weeks ago on this whole machdrop rigmarole. As well as 6 weeks ago on the original Premium order too. I'm probably already pushing the "Oh him again?" limits. ?

I wonder if those people did anything that resulted in canceled orders or if it was just a system error?
I'm one of those unfortunate people who had their order cancelled for an unknown reason. I placed my order three days before non-reservation holders were allowed. On the day when the general public was allowed to place an order, I receive an email from Ford telling me my order was cancelled. Called customer service to find out what happened and was told that it was cancelled by "GOMS". The woman didn't know what that meant, but she said someone would look in to it and call me back. Never got a call back, and still haven't gotten my $500 deposit. I subsequently placed another order on the same day, but now I'm worried that I got pushed to the back of the line and may not get my vehicle before Dec 31st.

Emailed my dealer this afternoon and he responded pretty quickly that all looks good. Not scheduled but “everything is done and ready for the order to be pulled.”

I never had any hiccups through the process though, and my dealer has been pretty great so far.

My dealership's MME specialist, Narh, got back to me already and sent me this, which I hadn't seen before. Looks solid to me based on seeing some others here. Of course, it still doesn't have the floor mats but that wasn't an option when doing an FE order. Once we get closer I'll make sure Narh gets those in for me.

My dealer sent one of those to me last week after I asked if he had any further info. since the order was placed.

This is interesting. My dealer finally gave me my order number, it's 8220. Looking at ChasingCoral's attachment, it seems sequential. Although mine is a Select.
