Exit Garage, Get a Dozen Errors

My adventure started stated with trying to use the Parking assist feature. First time showed a system fault. So thinking it was me tried it again, then again, then again and then got this:

It seemed like it was rebooting or something similar because as I was trying to park it manually at this point, it did not seem like I had total control of the throttle. Seemed like it was still trying to park it self. Very unnerving. So shut off the car and sat there doing email for like 15 minutes. Started it and drove off with all being well.

And I did call the dealer and got an appointment for May 4 (4 weeks). I am at PU 2.4.1. One other thing, and not sure what to make of it, is the last time I had a similar problem that car was set to Unbridled as it is now. I am going to switch back to Engaged and try it again. Will report my finding, if any.

As promised I tried it again in Engaged mode and until a pedestrian interfered it seemed to be working. Tried it again and got a fault message so I gave up. Nothing appeared in FordPass. Hopefully all stays well until May 4.

I suggest you contact Ford Customer Service. Waiting a month for a situation where your car is throwing up types types of errors on a regular basis is just not right. Ford (and the dealer service manager) were all over my car's situation first thing Monday morning. Best of luck!
