FDRS unable to login

So, purchased a 2-day license a couple of weeks ago and was able to install FDRS, login and perform updates on my car (although initially could not log in and had to downgrade from 39.x to 37.x version of FDRS). Tried to do this again this weekend with new 2-day license and can't get logged in. If I run network diags on FDRS screen *before* attempting to log in, they pass. I then try to login and it fails ("authentication failed, you must be connected ot the internet", which I am). If I run network diags again at this point, items 2 & 3 fail (FDSP connection and login server connection). Any suggestions? I've gotten no use out of this license...

If you're using non-dealer ETIS login option, try the other non-dealer option.

This worked, but only after I closed and reopened FDRS. If you try to login as ETIS and it fails, and then you try independent operator, it fails too.
