Well, here’s a crazy idea if you can take it: how about converting the gauge display into a flip down HUD? Flip the screen down, and you have a HUD reflected nice and clearly on your windshield!Joe, my English isn't good enough to tell if you're joking or being serious. Anyway, the car isn't mine; mine is the Shelby. The yoke belongs to a client who had this crazy idea, and we rarely say no.
I loved the idea but i think that is almost impossible to make, and would be very expensive from what i heard, for now i will not think on that , but who knows in some months ... Would be very cool indeed

You need a special windshield for projection. That doesn’t work properly on the normal windshield.
Yeah, I’ve seen those add on ones that you stick a film onto the glass, or there will be a piece of plastic that juts out of the projection system to achieve a similar effect. Something like that could be doable, though like you said, prolly not as pretty as projecting onto the glass itself like oems would do it.
