FYI you should charge it to 100% the first time if you haven’t done that yet. That helps calibrate the battery.

At this rate it would take a week. LOL

i can find a public charger at lunch and see what I can do. Work has a L2 close but after four hours it jumps to $20 per hour

FWIW, the 1st charge would be typically done by the dealer to 100% prior to delivery.

Yes. When I picked it up it was at 98%. not 100 but it took me some time to get there after they called me and said it was “fully charged”. It wasn’t plugged in when I got there. It was sitting out front and center

Download the app PlugShare and search your area for chargers. You just might find some free ones around your house or work. The college near me had a free L2 that got me through my first year.....and WELCOME to our little dysfunctional family ?

I don’t think you will need 4 hours.

It’s about 3 miles per hour, even from 0 it’s less than a week.

Most L2 chargers you find at work or public places are rated at 6.2 kwh as long as they aren't shared. In practice I have found them to give somewhere between 5.9 and 6.0.

With a GT with a 98.8 kwh battery, it is almost 1 kwh per percent (.988) So, for 60% to 80% = 20%/20 kwh, 20 / 6 = approximately 3.33 hours.

Note looking at your GOM (Guess O meter) rating of 12 miles / 4.3 kwh it thinks you will get 2.79 miles per kwh. Using that number 20% is about 55 miles.

Note this depends on how you drive. The more aggressive, which I guess is the point of the GT, the less range. Consistent speed and how fast are the biggest factors.

We are in no hurry to get anywhere, and I have a RWD Select, on the highway we typically get about 3.5 miles per kwh and 4.5 or so around town.
