80% is where the car’s charging curve takes a nose dive. It’s not as bad as it used to be for the 2021s, but it’s still a drastic decrease in charging speed. Unless you absolutely need the extra charge to make it to your next charging station. And you’re concerned about trip time, don’t go over 80%. ??
Practically, on my trip I found that at the stops I made to eat I spent more time ordering, eating, and cleaning up than my car needed to get to 80%. This led to charging into the 90s on a couple of occasions. ??
