EV Startup Fisker Will Shift To Selling Through Dealers

My take away from the article is this:
1) Fisker didn’t realize that by not having dealers they would have to do more work themselves. Dealers do provide the critical last mile delivery and such.
2) they want to be able to mark vehicles as sold as soon as they leave for a dealership. Ford can mark a vehicle sold when it leaves the factory for a dealer because to Ford the dealer is buying it.

I think Fisker needs to hire a better logistics person and stop trying to play financial games to get unsold cars off their books.
