Came out of Dr office to a completely flat tire -
Turns out Ford keeps an air pump complete with sealant under the trunk. Who knew?? (Ford did apparently)
Way to go Ford!! Sitting at tire shop.
I now have 123,300 miles on this car- year 5 and still going! Love it!

Coming up 5yrs in June with almost 125,000 miles and still loving mine, too

glad you got your flat tyre reflated OK.

over 2.5million miles and never needed a spare, always worked around it when I had flats so inflator & repair kit always good for me

It is a legal requirement in some jurisdictions to provide a spare tire or a repair kit/inflater.... The repair kit/inflater requires less space and is cheaper.

Never heard of such a legal requirement. Given that in the US Ford now charges extra for the inflator and can, it must not apply here.

You are right - I'll adjust my statement from "most" to "some". I think most states don't have this requirement. Maryland does. It is a requirement here in Ontario to pass a safety check. The tire sealant even has to be within the expiry date (hence why it has one).

You lucked out , If you used the tire sealant you would most likely would have had to spend a hundred dollars plus to clean that stuff out of the tire and buy a new TPS valve that gets damaged.

Is that still true? I have read (on the labels) that some sealants are TPS sensor compatible now.

I'm still disappointed that they have not developed a way to have a spare. I won't use our Mach E for out of town trips that we must arrive semi-ontime. We had a flat on a Saturday morning and had to wait until Tuesday for a new tire. Costs can be quite high with loss of non-refundable airfares, hotels, and events.
