Ford adapters for Tesla charging stations?

Where did you see that? It's certainly possible, but I haven't seen Ford say that. Ford also hasn't said that the 2025 MME will have native NACS. They said that they will start producing vehicles with it in 2025. That could just be the next gen platform. We don't know yet.

I did read an article from Ford, but damn I can’t remember where I saw the article. Sorry…. If I can find it, I’ll post it.

It sounds like an adapter will be shipped to me with no effort on my part. I guess if there's a charge, I will automatically be billed. However, it sounds more like a politician buying votes to me, so I learned a long time ago not to believe any political speeches.

No, you will need to buy it yourself from accessories.ford.com when it becomes available for sale next year. How to buy it has been clarified in subsequent interviews and press releases after Farley's initial announcement. You can also apply your FordPass Rewards points to the purchase of the adapter.

I just signed up for membership in EVgo. I’m still overseas until Thursday when I return, I hope I can do that…..

I may have chargepoint and this one mixed up. My bad.

Where I'm at I think I may be switching to charge @ EVgo.. The EA in my town is just not catching up to how many vehicles (out of town) go there to charge. It's just the demographics too the EV tech. they like. Next town over though the EVgo. I have not crunched the numbers though. I always thought that it's all the same.

My understanding is, People who buy a 2024 will get a free one with purchase. 2023 and earlier will have to buy. I think they are doing this because many people would just wait for the 2025 model with it built in. Up to 2023 models, we didn’t know the change was coming.

Don’t know about that but if anything the earlier year purchasers should get this adapter for free as Payment to be Guinea pigs for their cars and having to have endured “early adapter syndrome”
