Hi,

I just wanted to start a thread to supply FoMoCo a little appreciation. I've had very much a "miss" experience with most of my dealership interactions, but Ford Corporate has truly come correct with the big things. The MME is a delightful vehicle to drive, and I hope for the next few years to be hassle free.

Anyone else have good experience with FoMoCo?

It's kinda the most attractive, hard to keep clean and hard to keep swirl marks off of though.
PPF the entire front clip and ceramic coat the entire car with a 5yr product will help reduce those effects tremendously.

I've had mine for 14 months now, and except for a few minor glitches with mine it is a damn fine car that is fun to drive.

The design/engineering team for the Mach E clearly did a good job. Unfortunately I don’t have a single good thing to say about Ford Corporate.

I pretty much get the "white glove" treatment from Ford. Any questions, issues, etc. and they're on it!

It's not that I've had zero issues ... it's that whenever I have had issues, they were fantastic in their response.

I've had Marlin for 14 months now and still loving it every time I get it for a drive. Not only is the Mustang Mach E the best car I've ever owned, Ford has really stood behind it.

Mine was one of the very first to experience the LVB going dead. Ford immediately placed one of their Field Service Engineers on the job. They fixed him up within a week but as they brought him out for me to drive home, he put himself in park and wouldn't come out. The FSE identified the issue, Ford shipped out a new Rear Drive Unit and within a week he was good as new. We left for the trip from Maryland to Florida two days later.

Ford not only made sure I was on the road fast but threw in an extended warranty.

Unfortunately, we hit a retread on the drive home from Florida. After taping the front end back together, we drove home. It took a month to fix because the collision center kept running into new parts they needed and it was hard to find them. My dealer, Koons Ford, worked between the collision center and Ford to expedite the parts. Because it took so long, Ford refunded a month's loan payment. That was really above and beyond because the accident certainly wasn't Ford's fault!

This is why we have a Lightning scheduled to be built in May. We will soon be all-electric and all-Ford.

Thanks Ford corporate for creating the Mustang Mach-E GT. I'm thrilled that a performance oriented crossover was created.

My biggest gripe is the 5 second full power limit with a slow recovery time. Second biggest gripe is the drivers seating position (the MME sits too high and steering wheel position is too relaxed).

It's an amazing bang for the buck and the second best overall EV on the market (right behind the Porsche Taycan).

Thanks Ford.... please make more performance oriented EVs.

Thank you for starting this thread.

I have not had any interactions with FoMoCo as I have had minimal issues with PAAK and charging the first time. Honestly, those were non-issues for me as i considered them minor in the bigger scheme of things, especially since I understood as an early buyer of a very new car, there would be some issues. So for not having to interact with Ford, I share my kudos to them for producing a very good product. Cheers

I'm jumping on the Ford appreciation bandwagon. I've had my Space White (Black IS beautiful but too much sun in CO) for about 6 months and nothing has gotten in the way of a fun trip anywhere. I'm going to drive cross country in the next few months and hope for a seamless experience.

Forum posts for no other reason than to avail programmers of minor glitches have prompted a PM and follow up phone call from Ford customer service so I feel as if they are listening to us.

Great car! BTW... I have embarrassingly close ties to Ford and this is my first one ever. Couldn't be more proud to finally be part of the Blue Oval family.

I liked it so nice I bought one twice!

August 2021, bought a RWD MME in Rapid Red. Sold it in November to GMTV for a ridiculously high offer over what I paid. Fast forward a few months, and in February of 2022, I bought another RWD MME, this time in Space White. I really liked the Rapid Red, but I think I truly love Space White.

Thanks to @BigMach-E for starting this thread. I hope more jump on the positive bandwagon.

My experience with Ford has been great from the begging... including the dealer.

I've had my First Edition since Feb 2021 with about 9K miles.... and it's awesome!!

Early in 2021 when Ford announced that there was an issue with their branded home charger, they jumped through hoops to ensure that I had information on the best charging alternatives. They followed up multiple times to see which home charger I picked and if had any additional questions. Being new to the world of EVs, this was a huge help.

I'm part of EAP and now on 2.5.3. The update process could not have been smoother. While getting BC took longer than expected, this nor PAAK is why I bought the car. I bought it to drive it.

I appreciate that Ford took a conservative approach to OTAs. Whatever went right with mine, I hope they can use the data to roll it out to the masses.

The only minor hiccup (which I expected being part of EAP) was that my saved charge locations were deleted as part of the 2.4.2 update. While Ford support needs to be more centralized, the teams were helpful and genuinely concerned about resolving this issue. I even received a response from Ford in the forum.

I'm grateful that @Ford Motor Company monitors this site on a daily basis. I've not seen a real need for help ignored. I believe that Ford is dedicate to the Mach-E and to their EV program. Looking forward to the Lightning!!
