Does the Ford Credit Card offer points for monies off a vechile purchase?
I have the origional GM card and i have used it a number of times to take up to 3,000 off a vechile.
I don't really need another credit card, but I don't want to leave money on the table when my Mache e comes in.

FordPass points can be used for a number of things, including application towards a purchase.

However, the card isn't good as compared to say a 2% cashback card. The FordPass Rewards Visa offers 3% back on gas, auto insurance, tolls, parking and dining, 1% back on everything else. A $200 annual statement credit if you spend $6,000 on it. 11,000 points after first purchase, and $100 bonus after spending $3,000.

Each point you earn is worth 1/2 cent. So that 11,000 points is worth $55. You can use FordPass points, as many as you want, to buy a car.

In short, a poor excuse for a credit card.

Not directly, no. Your dealer would have to be willing to run a points charge towards the down payment.

Yes you can earn FordPass Rewards points and cash back with the FordPass Rewards Visa card.

FPR points can be redeemed towards vehicle purchases, repairs, and some accessories at a dealer. Cash back is given as a Visa statement credit so you can use it for whatever you want.
