Yes, the rebate is only available as PoS. I already hate that dealer because they tacked $13K worth of add-ons onto my Fusion and refused to tell me what my bottom line on the car was when I asked. They only quoted me a monthly payment. The new dealer has a presence on this forum. Even though they’re an hour and a half from me, I’d rather go wit them than the one I know I hate.

Was helping my son buy a car a few years back and the sales manager, real young kid IMHO, kept asking what payment I was looking for. Told him more than once that was not a concern, I wanted to know what the out the door price was on the car. He got pushy and we walked. Bought a car across the street. His boss called me asking me what my experience was and to follow up and I told him my experience and that I bought elsewhere because of it.

I hate that question and it always send up huge red flags

I guess the second best response is "$0 per month." That ought to force an OTD price.

I believe the Online Checkout is initiated by the dealer inviting you into it, once your vehicle has arrived at the dealership.

I'm not sure that's true. I can't imagine my dealer doing anything of the sort, since they live in 1922, but I had online checkout available.

I just put in another order to see if I get a different allotment and saw this on the new one: Express Checkout . That's all I really want after buying my last 3 cars on the internet and at the mall

Which the previous dealer's sales manager told me didn't really exist anywhere yet! Ugh. Why can't they get their stories straight? Seems very disingenuous to me and makes me wary and distrustful.

But I'm also concerned that this new one is North *County* Ford but somehow it becomes North *Country* Ford ? Such a massive simple typo like that doesn't inspire confidence in me. But either way, now I have two orders so I will let the best dealer win and I'll get a refund of the deposit from the loser.
