Looks like they are just going to drop the price to compete with other brands!

I called my dealer and they are unaware of any price drop . Looks like us Canadians might have to wait. We better not get forgotten on this. It's what I was waiting for and for them to ignore us would not make me very happy.

What I'm seeing here is more like 60km EV range(37 mi) and no AWD for the PHEV.

Yeah, I'm curious what the significance of tomorrow is. The next few weeks are going to be fun and probably a bit frustrating at times.
And the answer is:

FordPass Charging network is of virtually no value to me. I have a charger so the same. 48-hour test drive, yeah nice but it's not a real incentive to buy for me. Cash off is all that there is for people in my not quite unique situation.

BTW, if we didn't get the survey, we're not the ones they're interested in hearing from.
Looks like you win on this one!

hahaha.

A nice surprise this morning imo. Despite all the comments otherwise.

I had far too many years as a union officer, union negotiating committee member, union grievance committee chair, and national officer for the complaints about an unequal or unfair reduction in MSRP to surprise me. In fact, I do sympathize.

Now if I had just placed that bet in Reno ...

which makes what i initially said right lol
eh, it still costs what it costs.

it just costs less now. but it still costs that lesser amount. doesn't really change my basic point which is either it's a price you're willing to pay, or it isn't. All this does is change what some people are willing to pay for, apparently.

PHEV is like a spork. The future is electric.

I can think of little which is sillier than calling a PHEV with 120 mile range “perfect” if it allows 95% EV usage. Go for that additional 5%.

100% agree but do you think this would apply more, or less to EV's? We see cars from Tesla hold their value. And we see cars like the leaf greatly lose their value.
If it matters to you what this car or a Tesla is going to be worth in five years or seven, be it 25% or 50%, then you should not be buying it. Would you be happier if it were worth $X more? Yes. Should you be buying a 40k, 50k, 60k car if that number impacts your life in any substantial way? No. Buy a Camry or Accord and get on with life.
