That reminded me of a Mazda routine to program a new fob. The driver door is opened and closed several times.

the B and A buttons are actually hidden behind the glovebox. You need to pull the whole dash off to get to them and deal with the airbags.

Has anyone actually tried out the bezel diagnostics mode yet? I was hoping it would reveal some info about my FordPass activation problem, but most of the interesting options just say "Diagnostics Data Unavailable" or are blank. I need to hear from someone else so I know if that's how it's supposed to work or if it's part of my problem. I'm thinking it probably only works when the diagnostic tool is connected, but maybe someone's already figured out step 2?

Well, I'm having connectivity issues too, but I've already dropped my car off with the dealer and they are replacing "the antenna" (which I think probably houses the modem/LTE radio) so I can't get into these menus. I would've been interested in seeing what mine said. especially since it looks like you can get the IMEI and other LTE modem info that isn't available in the normal menus. I'd have been interested if mine changes

I hope that solves your problem. If I'm reading it right, my bezel tells me it is connecting to a tower; but there's no telling from this screen if the signal is reliable or strong enough to be usable.
