Maybe I am missing the point of the service, but I am a bit confused wanted to try this for 30 days and the experience was under whelming . No podcasts app or anything else..: Maybe I am missing something here but not what I expected. Cancelled after one month sticking with Apple Car Play…

No I agree HOT @&)&@9…. I can say I tried it not worth it… Ford either needs to go all in on Android Automotive or stick to Apple Car Play/ Android Auto… this also goes along with their navigation app…truely sub par to apple or google maps…Ford needs to deliver consistent quality OTA updates before focusing on everything thing else they think they should do.

For me when I takeoff to the store and leave the Wife in the car she can watch YouTube because I take my phone with me but if you don’t have that service, you can’t watch YouTube on that big screen from your phone. I’ve tried it 100 different ways. I don’t know how to do it if there’s a way I’ll cancel. The only way it does work is if you sit in your driveway or Unknown Wi-Fi spot even if you turn your phone into a hotspot, it doesn’t work. They know what they’re doing when they enable that.

Honestly I usually have my tablet if going out and my calyx hotspot… I tried it and didn’t like it moving on…I wanted to make I didn’t miss the idea.. Wife has a suburban and we can do exactly as you mentioned

I’ll have to play around with it because it’s A little confusing when you get in the car it shuts down your phones Wi-Fi or cell signal i’ll have to be in the car and away from the house. I’m not turning off my Wi-Fi because if I turn off Wi-Fi on the phone, then it depends on the signal but then when I turn my phone on as a hotspot for some reason right now I can’t think of what it was doing all I know I tried like a bunch of stuff and it just failed to connect to hotspot, but I thought I turned CarPlay off.

OK so I was going back through some kind of mental procedure here I was doing lol so I went into settings on the iPhone. CarPlay turned off CarPlay, and then I got in the car and turned on the hotspot. Then I clicked on the YouTube and it said must be connected to a Wi-Fi so I chose my phone and it would look like connecting and it said fail connect iPhone! There’s only one simple password for my hotspot and I just figured it was Ford out, thinking me.

If they added a bunch more streaming services then it might be worth it. I would pay for a month here and there when I'm taking road trips if it had HBO and Netflix.

So here’s why I’m paying the $10 a month. I mean all the other services are trial and I’m gonna let those expire after two or three years however long they go. Unless XM radio gives me some kind of $50 for a year. I won’t renew that, but I know a lot of people in these cars travel and they want to pay that seven or $800 a year for blue Cruise which to me is crazy and for $10. I’ll keep it a little while.

I pay the $10 just so the grandkids can boss Alexa around from the back seat.

They think Pawpaw's cars are way cooler than their parents. And both the Powerboost and Mach-E are. ?

And OK, I admit that I sometimes stream Amazon music myself when they aren't in the vehicle.

Well, I actually have one of those wives that is not in to the technology and she has the flip phone that doesn’t text or anything. 90 years old It’s not easy to pick up the fact that she can navigate a smart TV is amazing to me!

Now that I am paying for that service, I was going to try to test out my hotspot from my phone today. But because I have the service enabled, I can’t figure out how to turn off the service so it forces me to connect to another Wi-Fi..
