Just tried to bring up the tracking site, and this is what I get (my car is supposed to get delivered 4/5, but who knows, it's on a train between KC and Delaware):

Notice
Due to a combination of high demand and global supply-chain constraints, not all models and trims or features may be currently available. We want you to have the Ford you deserve and are doing all we can to deliver it with all of your chosen features. Please contact your dealer for any questions about inventory and future availability.
Acknowledge

Nice way to communicate with your customers, let alone piss them off. No email from Ford, dealer heads-up, nothing. And this after the car was on "chip hold" for 2 months?

What am I going to miss now? If there were an even comparable car to the Mustang available right now, I'd tell the dealer to take a hike (I'm sure he would be delighted), but I'm not ready yet to cut my nose to spite my face :(

@Ford, shame on you!

I think the Polestar 2 is pretty close if you option it with all the packages (except the ventilated seats which I don't think is available in the MME anyway...)

They have stock on the West coast so depending on where you are located it might only be a few weeks (assuming they have one configured match your needs).

It has Android Automotive which I understand is what Ford is going to switch to eventually anyway. The 1PD is much nicer than what the MME has.
You would be giving up some range (compared to AWD EX), some cargo room, some passenger room for both front and rear passengers and your cup holders. Otherwise it's a decent choice if your need is urgent and don't want to wait.

The same message comes up when Just surfing the main Ford webpage. I think they are just using the shotgun approach to get the message out. Understand that we will not all like the message but they seem to be doing what they can to get products out to their customers versus waiting forever for some capabilities.

This is presented to everyone who visits ford's website, not just people who are waiting for their vehicles.
