50 minutes?! This guy really needs to learn how to communicate more concisely!
The longer his videos the more commercials he has and hence the more $$ to him.

Honestly the 'best' aspect of tesla isn't the refresh, it's the fact they'll randomly start installing new item revisions mid-run when they make a better product. The first "new" change outside of the LFP SR is in the rally version where ford has put in their new rear motor. Ford truly needs to get with the times and try to be constantly improving. Vertical integration done-right means not only are things improving as each year tics by, they're improving on the fly resulting in new and improved vehicles every few months. Waiting a few years to release broad changes is a poor strategy. It introduces too many chances for compounding bugs. Gradual upgrades ensures there's no hard cut-over resulting in a whole new round of issues for new model job 1.

See, I think Ford should differentiate more. Make the Select/Premium softer, and make the GT sporty. There is not a ton of difference between them right now (other than MagneRide on the GTPE).

They just need to fast track the Lincoln version with an squishy suspension.

Your cabin isn’t quiet?

This is by far the quietest car I’ve owned. My wife’s Lincoln is loud by comparison.

68 db on the highway vs 70 for the Model Y.
https://www.caranddriver.com/review...stang-mach-e-vs-2020-tesla-model-y-compared/#
My GTPE did not have wind noise but BOTH my 22 Premium AWD ERs (one before the GTPE and the one after the GTPE) have the infamous wind noise over the driver mirror which others have possibly fixed with the rubber seal material over the gaps. My Grand Cherokee is a loud mess in comparison to the EVs I've owned but my former Telluride was dead quiet. Almost Audi-like.

Anyhow, the BMW i4 was dead quiet compared my other EVs with the Ioniq 5 in second place and the rest... meh. I think I measured low 60s dB on the highway with the BMW i4. I measured high 60s for the 21 + 22 Model Ys (has better insulation compared to 2020s) and even higher on my 22 MME Premiums. The tire/road noise is pretty bad on my MME. I drove the i4 and MME back to back for about 9 months and there was HUGE difference is noise levels. The i4 had poor cargo/passenger space so it's gone.

My current Rivian R1S is a noisy mess like many Teslas. Too much wind noise.

Of course, the nosiest car I've owned was a 2 Door Bronco Big Bend. High 80s, low 90s on the highway. You had to shout to speak to anybody in that car.

I don't agree, recently I traded premium for a GTPE the roads where I live a very bad, potholes, ruts, ect. The GTPE took the harshness out of impacts. The car also has much less bucking effect than MY or a MME without magneride.

One note to anyone wanting to smooth out the suspension put on tires with a larger load range and lower the pressure. For a GTPE put on 255/45/20 105 XL and inflate to 36 psi. Harshness comes for running higher than normal tire pressure.

I will agree with you on unbridled it seems to be stiffer than the premium suspension.
The suspension is a complete mess on the Y and MME. The bucking is gone in Unbridled because the suspension is stiffened but in Whisper it was intolerable. I have about 6 speed bumps in my HOA and another 6-8 in my downtown office garage and in Whisper mode I felt like my insides were violently shaken. The only other vehicle with such poor rebound control was my Bronco but you expect that with an offroad SUV with such ground clearance. The Y just has an overly firm suspension and you feel every microbump on the road.

All you need to do is test drive the ID.4 or Ioniq 5 or EV6 and it is immediately apparent. The day I picked up the 22 GTPE - I had to visit my VW dealer to reject the 22 ID.4 order that arrived but I test drove it at the insistance of the salesguy (who sold me my first EV - ID.4 2021). The suspension was vastly more compliant as I remembered. No bounce and no harshness.

MME feels like a typical crossover like a RAV4 at times. It's a bit bouncy and also weirdly overly firm. BMW tuned their EV suspension correctly in the i4 and iX... not sure why Ford can't with their EVs.

I've kept the MME over other EVs because it does every okay but nothing well except maybe BlueCruise. The MME will outlast the Rivian R1S for sure as I'm not in love with the Tesla-like harsh ride of the R1S even after the OTA suspension update.

We love our June delivery 2023 Premium eX4....

A couple of weeks ago we traded in our Accord for a Model 3 RWD w/LFP.

The price was 38,990 and we get the $7500 tax credit plus a generous trade in value. Their interest rate was 6.49% The buying process and trade in was all done on the Tesla app. Several days later, walked in and had the car within 30 minutes. We both looked at each other and realized how broken the dealer model is hurting Ford's EV market chances.

Not sure if our M3 is a unicorn, but the build quality is perfect. We do not miss Apple CarPlay because the software is that good and Ford's implementation of CarPlay hasn't been reliable in our MachE or previous Expedition.

We can't wait for Ford to get access to the Tesla Supercharger network and to speed up the updates to the car and app.

"People want instrument clusters behind the steering wheel??" - Tesla
But no enough to stop buying cars without them.
If you really want an instrument clusters, there are aftermarket Plug and play solutions that cost less than 500$. I'm guessing if Tesla did this, it would cost them less than $100. Probably$50 at most. They did the calculus, and figured that omitting it really wouldn't affect sales. Hard to argue with them given how many M3 and MY are sold worldwide.

The biggest complaint I hear from people who own them is having to look to he right for their speed, many other reasons why people choose Tesla than where the speedometer is, much of the reason is pricing right now, literally has nothing to do with the build quality or design of the vehicle.

Really? I heard the opposite. People that do not own a M3 or MY would think that they couldn't live without the the driver display, but once they own one, quickly adapt and don't miss it. I have a MY and I really like having the air vents right in front of the driver. Would not be possible with the driver display there.

There's other things that I think are missing that Tesla really needs. 360 view, cross traffic alerts. They finally got blind spot monitoring with the new M3 update.

I do not think it would keep me from buying one, the biggest omission is CarPlay and well, it looks like a Tesla is what's keeping me from getting one.

I drove a Prius for 6 years. The display was in the center and can tell you from experience that you’d get used to it pretty quickly. The benefit of not having it is a smaller steering wheel which is very nice. I agree with you on the rest of your points, but do think Highland is an attractive vehicle.

I got used to the speed on the center screen very quick since it is right next to your right hand on the steering wheel at 10 & 2. I though that no Car Play would be a big deal, but I have found I love using Apple Music now through the Tesla system, the Google Map system in the Tesla works really well and even automatically shows the best trips to work and home when I get into the car, and the text system in the Tesla works so well I do not even realize it is not using Car Play.

That and the fact that the M3P comes in around $44K now after the $7,500 rebate makes it a hard deal to pass up.

You can’t beat that deal. M3P would be $40k in Illinois for BMW M3 level performance.
