Ford Trip Planner has been UPDATED?

Does it seem like the trip planner is doing a much better job recently?

• Not routing to slow or risky chargers.
• Reasonable, if conservative arrival SOC.
• Fairly accurate arrival SOC estimates (outside of windy conditions)
• Updates estimates while travelling if going faster than speed limit, weather, etc.

I took some trips recently and have been plotting some others just to test.

Anyone else notice this?

Also maybe the first leg is least accurate and then improves? It's hard to tell if the algorithm is just assuming you'll drive speed limit or your recent consumption at first and then updates.

How often do you guys get bad stop recommendations?

Oh I meant the built-in nav automatic charging stop plotting.

I do wish they would put it back on the app. Easy to plan from the kitchen table then to be actually in the car. 'Cmon Ford!!

Agreed, it’s probably the number 1 reason I don’t use it anymore. ABRP with dongle works extremely well

Until they add Tesla superchargers to it, its useless to me. Wasn't that promised to be coming by the end of this year?

My app routes me to Tesla superchargers and only the ones that take adapter or magic dock. My apple maps won’t route me to Tesla

I hope they’ve done some improvements! I did a long trip in June and I was absolutely infuriated by the on-board nav. It’s especially frustrating when you remember how good it used to be with the app.

Do you find it pretty reasonable in it's charge plans or do you just manually plan?

Except "ABRP will not precondition the battery for an optimal speed charge.
I am under the impression that using Android Auto in its latest version gathers information from the Ford navigation map, giving all necessary input to maximize the trip experience
