Still interested in where this harness fits into the system. Some with knowledge/manuals on this forum with the schematic could help.

Ford is represented here and true professionals do not need to like their clients. That has nothing to do with their job.

If a wiring harness has to be removed in order to replace it, AND it's currently not available, then a real professional technician might remove the suspect harness and then identify where the damage is.
Or put another way, my older brother will literally build a new harness, or repair an existing harness when he's "building" a race car that is from a 30+ years old car. (retired and builds/sells NA and NB spec class Miatas)
