FordPass changing target charge bug

Found a problem with changing the target charge in FordPass. I changed target charge to 90% and start charging. Some reason the target charge changed to 100% instead. I try changing it back to 90% and the app spins and doesn't change it. I had to stop charging first, change the target charge and then restart the charging. Then it stayed at 90%. Very strange behavior. Anyone else experience problems with changing the target charge?

Edit: FordPass v5.3.1 on iOS.

I’m willing to bet it’s a vehicle software. Might help if you can report it happening on an older version of the app or not or info on your last vehicle update.

happened to me after an update, go into your sync 4 screen in the car under charging and manually set charging level there. Should fix the problem

I had this happen to me last weekend when I tried charging.
I have not needed to change target charge since and it also has not messed up and gone to 100%, so just thought it was a random one off issue.
But also only charged twice since.

Next charge after the Fordpass update mine (23.5) also changed itself after plugging in last week to 100%. Been driving a good bit more than usual to get it down. Somehow that extra 15% (for me) seems to drive a long ways! I was able to reset it to 85% for home in the car but will double check when I plug in next.

FordPass will no longer let me set my target charge to 90%.
Funny thing is that I had it set to 90% for months then decided to lower the target to 80%. Now I would like to go back to 90%, but it the app won't accept that target. It automatically changes the target to 85%. I tried several times now.

I am not able to set a target charge at all since the last update so I have to babysit the charger and make sure it doesn’t go above 80% every time. Hoping Ford comes out with a fix for this issue soon.

So, one thing I noticed about the latest FP app and the charge settings is that you can’t change the target charge setting unless you are already charging. If you try and change it before plugging in, it will look like it changes and then revert back. Also, something else I just discovered - I was going in a road trip and forgot to change the target to 100%. After it compelted the charge to my usual 90%, I remembered to change it. When I moved the slider over to 100%, the app asked me if I wanted to this ”one time only or permanently.”
