The Ford APIs are available. They are documented at https://developer.ford.com/apisYeah it's a thing. Ford is/was working on an api that was supposed to be ready at the start of 2023 but that never materialized. I think it was called Ford connect. I tried contacting them with the intention of making a proper app but they never replied to the "contact us" message on their site. So don't hold your breath for any legit third party tool.
Best approach right now is to make a separate throw away Ford account and give it access to your vehicle if you plan on using 3rd party apps.
